Cargo Tank Proposed Rule

If your company loads or unloads hazmats using cargo tanks, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule that will affect you. The proposal would require you to develop written operating procedures for loading and unloading. It would require specific training for employees based on those operating procedures. The rule also addresses those who operate transfer equipment for cargo tank loading and unloading. Download the proposed rule here.
